Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key element to maximize your gearing potential. It allows you to add bonus stats onto the base value of your item.

Each upgrade template comes with set of options that can be set up via the GUI. These options include the upgrade items reference and the chance to upgrade.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update, the system for upgrading weapons and armor in Cyberpunk has been improved. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City.
